Saratoga Harness Racing Recap Wednesday, 3/12

Let’s Go Jude (JK Endofanera) went coast-to-coast in the $9,500 featured race on Wednesday afternoon at Saratoga Casino Hotel. The five-year-old pacer joined the Andy Gardner stable last month and recorded two starts at the Spa heading into Wednesday’s try that saw him draw the rail. Let’s Go Jude took full advantage of his inside post and moved out to the early lead in a fast first quarter of 27.4. Driver Billy Dobson gave the race’s even-money betting favorite a bit of a breather before reaching the half in 57.4. The outer tier wasn’t thriving in pursuit of Let’s Go Jude who never faced an anxious moment en route to a 1:55.1 score to record his first win since joining the Gardner barn. Jones Beach De Vie (Aaron Byron) closed sharply to finish second for the fourth consecutive week while Fall In Line (Leon Bailey), who was the pocket-sitter to the winner, earned the show spot. Let’s Go Jude is owned by Frank Brundle of Ontario, Canada.

Live racing resumes on Sunday afternoon at Saratoga with a matinee beginning at 12pm.
