SARATOGA SPRINGS, New York (August 2, 2018) – The Saratoga Casino Hotel Foundation is currently accepting grant applications for the 2018 cycle. The Foundation exists to support charitable and public benefit organizations whose mission is the betterment of quality of life, health and welfare of Saratoga County residents.
To qualify for a grant, organizations must be classified as a not-for-profit organization by the Internal Revenue Service. Applicant organizations must carry out services and activities that benefit the residents of Saratoga County. Activities that address problem gambling, support youth, senior citizens, recreation, arts and community benefit are given priority.
The deadline for grant request filing is September 5, 2018. The Foundation Board will act on the grant applications by September 19, 2018. Awards will be presented at a ceremony at Fortunes Restaurant in Saratoga Casino Hotel on Friday, September 28.

The Saratoga Casino Hotel Foundation is funded by Saratoga Casino Hotel and the Saratoga Harness Horseperson’s Association. The Foundation has funded over $380,000 in grants to more than 160 organizations since 2004.
