SARATOGA SPRINGS, New York (October 18, 2017) – Today, Saratoga Casino Hotel presented a $13,185 donation to ‘To Life!’ The donation came from funds raised at the sold-out reunion show of The Burners U.K. in Vapor on October 13, and a casino promotion the same day.
The sold-out reunion show for The Burners U.K. welcomed more than 800 attendees to Vapor. A portion of all ticket sales, as well as the proceeds raised at a live auction the same night, were donated to ‘To Life!’ Prior to the October 13 show, The Burners U.K. had not performed together since 2013.
“The energy in Vapor for our reunion show was electric,” said J Yager, lead singer of The Burners U.K. “We were so glad to perform in front of our great fans again while helping to raise money for such a wonderful cause.”
Serving a 10-county region across the Capital District, To Life! works to educate and alleviate the burden of a breast cancer diagnosis for both the patient and their families.
“Donations like these help to ensure we can continue to serve countless breast cancer patients and families all across the Capital Region,” said Eileen Bird, Executive Director of To Life! “We greatly appreciate all of the efforts from the staff at Saratoga Casino Hotel and the members of The Burners U.K. for organizing such a great event.”
