Saratoga Casino Hotel | Saratoga Springs, New York
June 26th, 1941 was the 1st day of racing at Saratoga Raceway; 4,048 fans; $28,515 handle
Original two-tier Clubhouse was completed
Equine Hydrotherapeutic facility (a pool for horses) constructed in stable area
Upstate Harness Racing, Inc. took over Saratoga Raceway with Joe Gerrity, Jr. as President and Chairman
Saratoga Gaming and Raceway’s newly constructed casino, the first at a NY harness track, opens with 1,300 video gaming machines
45,000 sq ft expansion including Vapor and the Garden Buffet
117-room luxury hotel opens
