Neymar (Conway Hall) and Sammy De Vie (Credit Winner) won in the $9,300 co-features on Thursday evening at Saratoga Casino Hotel. With track condition labeled ‘good’ after an afternoon full of snow, Neymar prevailed in 2:00.2 for a convincing victory in his race for New York Sired trotters while Sammy De Vie’s win came in 2:03.2 before there was a delay for track maintenance. Both Neymar and Sammy De Vie were dropping out of the $15,000 Jim Derue Memorial Trotting Series Consolation which was contested on Sunday afternoon. Neymar, who was a beaten favorite in his Sunday tilt, lived up to the 1-2 betting hype on Thursday as he moved first over and powered away from his rivals to score an open length victory. Sammy De Vie, who was driven to victory by Austin Siegelman, parlayed the pocket ride to his win in the other $9,300 co-feature on Thursday after a second place and a pair of fourths in the Derue Memorial Series. Neymar gave driver Dan Cappello Jr the first half of his Thursday driving double.
