Vapor 2023 Monster Ball Costume Contest Rules and Regulations
Four prizes awarded on Saturday, October 28, 2023
Best Male Costume, Best Female Costume, Best Couple Costume,
Best Group Costume (Group must consist of 3 or more themed participants)
Winners must be 21 years or older and have valid photo ID.
Entries
Each Vapor guest is eligible to enter into our Vapor 2023 “Monster Ball” Costume Contest. To enter, guests must visit Vapor between 8:30pm-10:30pm, be in costume and be present to win on Saturday, October 28,2023.
Contest
There will be four (4) Judges selecting the entries for the Costume Contest starting at 8:30pm Saturday, October 28, 2023 and will continue until approximately 10:30pm. There will be a maximum of eight (8) qualifiers picked for each category; they will be issued a number, of which they will need to produce when called to the stage in Vapor. Starting at approximately 11:30pm, the selected qualifiers for each category will be brought to the front of the stage in Vapor. The Emcee of the night will narrow the (eight) 8 qualifiers down to two (2) and then the winner for each category will be determined by audience response. The winner(s) must be present and produce valid photo identification to be determined a winner. Management will determine winners’ verification.
Prizes
$500.00 for Best Costume – Male
$500.00 for Best Costume – Female
$1,000.00 for Best Costume – Couple
$1,000.00 for Best Costume – Group (The prize money will be equally divided and split amongst group)
Exclusions:
If the winner is currently banned or excluded from Saratoga Casino Hotel, they will not be eligible to win and a new winner will be drawn.
Additional Rules
Prizes are not transferable. All federal, state and local taxes, if any, and all expenses related to the use of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. By participating, contest entrant agrees to the official contest rules and, where legal, the use of winner’s name and/or likeness for advertising and publicity purposes without compensation. Winner must sign a publicity release form. Winner shall release, discharge, and hold harmless Saratoga Casino Hotel and its parent companies from all liabilities, claims or damages arising from participation in this contest and the acceptance, use, misuse or possession of the prize. Promotions and membership may be subject to additional or revised rules and conditions. Saratoga Casino Hotel reserves the right to alter or terminate the Saratoga Club at any time, and to alter, terminate or substitute any promotional or giveaway offers without notice.
Employees of Saratoga Casino Hotel, persons licensed by the New York State Division of the Lottery holding a video lottery license and officers or employees of the New York State Gaming Commission are ineligible and not permitted to wager upon or claim a prize in a video lottery game. Ineligible persons include employees of Saratoga Casino Hotel, as well as any immediate family members residing in the same household of any of the aforementioned individuals.
Any dispute or situation not covered by the official rules will be resolved by Saratoga Casino Hotel management in a manner deemed by them to be the fairest to all concerned, and that decision shall be final and binding on all participants. In addition, Saratoga Casino Hotel reserves the right to void any entry, and/or to change, cancel or modify this promotion at any time.
Participation in this promotion is an agreement to abide by the rules of the Vapor 2023 Monster Ball Costume Contest Promotion.
