About MITCHELL CUSHING

Mitch Cushing, son of trainer/driver, Ron Cushing, grew up in the harness racing business. At 15, he moved from Flint, Michigan to join his father at his stable in Maine. Mitch began driving at the fairs in Maine at 16. He came to Saratoga Casino Hotel briefly in 2019 before heading out to Ohio to race. There he scored his 1,000th career driving win in January 2023 at Miami Valley Raceway.

Mitchell returned to Saratoga in 2023. He was the recipient of the 2024 Johnny Page Driver Breakthrough Award.
