About MARK BECKWITH

Mark Beckwith is a third-generation harness horseman. His father, Bert Beckwith, was a prominent New England horseman.

Mark won his first race in 1983 and since then has raced at over a dozen tracks. He was the leading trainer at Rosecroft Raceway in 1994, and the leading Driver at Yonkers in 2002.

Mark came to Saratoga Casino Hotel in 2008 where he reached his 5,000th driving win on October 22, 2015. Mark was voted SCH/SHHA Horseman of the Year in 2016, 2019 and 2024.

Mark was inducted into the Saratoga Harness Hall of Fame in 2025. He has over $33 million in lifetime driving purses.
