Before coming to Saratoga in 2005, harness driver Chris Long had already made a name for himself in Maine and at Monticello Raceway in NY. He holds the record for the most driving wins in a single season at Monticello after winning 243 races in 1999.

Chris’ driving quickly had an impact at SCH, and he was the recipient of the 2007 Johnny Page Driver Breakthrough award.

Chris scored his 4,000 driving victory in October 2023 at Vernon Downs.

Chris finished 8th in the SCH driver standings in 2025.
