About BRIAN CROSS

Harness driver and trainer, Brian Cross, was raised in a harness racing family. Brian came to Saratoga in 1987 and was awarded the Johnny Page Award for Up & Coming Driver in 1989, and the Peerless McGrath Award for Up & Coming Trainer in 1991.

Brian was voted USHWA Trainer of the Year in 1992 and Horseman of the Year in 2003. He reached his 4,000th career driving win in July 2023. Brian has earned over $20 million in driving purses lifetime. He was inducted into the Saratoga Harness Hall of Fame in 2022.
