Chili (Credit Winner) lit up the board on Wednesday at Saratoga Casino Hotel as the Gary Levine trainee pulled off an upset paying $92.50 in the trotting feature. Chili was just one week removed from being the even-money favorite in the $9,000 feature for New York sired trotters on Wednesday when he was dismissed at odds of 45-1. Driver Brett Crawford moved Chili out to the early lead before yielding to rival All Night Credit (Shawn Gray). Chili closed up the inside in the stretch and got by to win in 1:58.2 for his first victory of the year as the longest shot on the board in the feature. All Night Credit was disqualified after causing interference in the stretch and was subsequently placed fourth. Mind Your Manners (Mickey Mc Givern) wound up earning the place spot while the favorite Amazing Sevens (Frank Coppola Jr) came up third best. Chili provided his trainer Gary Levine the first half of back to back wins on the card as his Miss Neala Ridge (Billy Dobson) pulled off a mild upset in her non-winners of two lifetime trot.
Live racing continues on Thursday afternoon at Saratoga with a 12:15pm first post.
