Chief Executive Officer of Saratoga Casino Holdings Recognized as Top 40 Under 40 Winner
SARATOGA SPRINGS, New York (October 4, 2023) – Sam Gerrity, Chief Executive Officer of Saratoga Casino Holdings LLC (SCH) was named to an esteemed list of national gaming leaders.
Gerrity was selected among a record-breaking number of nominees to the “Emerging Leaders of Gaming 40 Under 40” list. The Innovation Group and Global Gaming Business created the program that recognizes professionals under the age of 40 making an impact on the gaming industry. Honorees will be recognized at the Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas next week.
“It is an honor to be recognized on the Top 40 Under 40 list among such a prestigious group of gaming leaders,” said Gerrity, expressing his gratitude.
Gerrity joined Saratoga Casino Holdings in 2018 as Vice President of Business Development engaged in new acquisitions as well as enhancing performance at existing properties. He has been on the Board of Directors of Saratoga Casino Holdings for over five years helping shape the strategic direction of its subsidiaries. Since joining the team, Gerrity has overseen the corporate team which recently acquired Magnolia Bluffs Casino Hotel in Natchez, Mississippi in October 2022. Currently, Gerrity and the SCH team, in conjunction with three other partners (The Chickasaw Nation, Legends and Thor Equities) are actively pursuing one of three New York State Class III gaming licenses to be awarded in the coming months.
Gerrity’s previous work experience includes working several years for the largest lobbying and government relations firm in New York State. He represented Delaware North Companies Gaming & Entertainment in Panama to seek tourism related business opportunities and he has held senior executive positions with Arcos Dorados, the largest franchisee of McDonald’s restaurants in the world.
Gerrity received his B.A. degree in Political Science from Hobart College in Geneva, NY and M.B.A. from Duke University.
