About JAY RANDALL

Veteran harness driver, Jay Randall, first drove at Saratoga in 1977 when he won the Junior Driving Championship. He won the Johnny Page award for up & coming driver in 1982. Over the years Jay moved his base to Monticello, Yonkers and then the Meadowlands before returning to Saratoga in 2005.

Jay splits his harness drives between Saratoga Casino Hotel and Plainridge Park. He finished 10th in the SCH driver standings in 2025.

Jay notched his 5,000th driving win at Plainridge Park on July 16, 2024. His lifetime purses exceed $33 million. Jay was inducted into the Saratoga Harness Hall of Fame in 2025.
