Lloyd’s Loves was a two-time Open winner at Saratoga Casino Hotel during the springtime. A six-figure earner in 2025, the Edwin Quevedo-trained mare moved closer to the $100,000 in the ’26 campaign on Sunday when she went coast-to-coast to score in the matinee’s featured race. Lloyd’s Loves made an easy lead in the $18,000 Fillies and Mares Open on Sunday and cruised unopposed in a first half that went in 58.3. Driver Jimmy Devaux, who was inducted last month into the Saratoga Harness Hall Of Fame, went pedal to the metal with the six year old distaffer in the third quarter as rattled off a 27.4 third panel before completing the wire-to-wire score in 1:54.2. Racy Roxy A (Jay Randall) got the pocket trip behind the winner and wound up as the runner-up while the favored Whilemena Rita A (Brett Beckwith) shook loose late to finish third. For Lloyd’s Loves, it was win number seven on the season for owner David Dobbelmann. Lloyd’s Loves was the 5-2 second-choice in the wagering in her Sunday score. Devaux piloted four winners on the matinee card.
Live racing continues on Monday afternoon at Saratoga with a matinee that kicks off at 12pm.
