Vapor AV Entertainment Technician (PT)

SUPERVISES: N/A

REPORTS TO: Senior Director of Guest Experiences & Entertainment

EDUCATION:   College degree or equivalent preferred.

EXPERIENCE: Must have prior emphasis in audio, lighting, and video systems and design, and preferred 3–5 years professional work as an Entertainment Technician. Must be proficient with digital sound and lighting boards.   Experience with Yamaha MCL7and Road Hog Console. Must possess knowledge and be capable of operating multimedia projection equipment including LCD projector, video switchers, cameras and recorders. Must exhibit an ability to set up, patch, and mix live bands and shows. Must be proficient in computers. This is not an entry level position.

SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to work nights, holidays and weekends and have a flexible schedule based on the needs of the business.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and ensure a safe, fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment.
  • Responsible for operating all audio, video and lighting equipment.
  • Ensure all performances, meetings and events meets standards set by the department.
  • Must be able to work with little supervision and adapt quickly to change.
  • Must be self-motivated.
  • Must be able to work safely at a fast pace and in stressful situations where time is of the essence.
  • Adhere to established Company and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to established Company and departmental Signature Service practices and standards.
  • Relays all guest compliments/complaints to the Senior Director of Guest Experiences & Entertainment.
  • Relay all maintenance/repair issues to Senior Director of Guest Experiences & Entertainment.
  • Knowledgeable of activities and amenities of SCH.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
