Guest Room Attendant (FT)


REPORTS TO: Hotel Housekeeping Manager (reports to the Housekeeping Supervisor in absence of the Hotel Housekeeping Manager).

EDUCATION:   High School Diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE: Previous housekeeping experience preferred.  Must be able to multi-task and take direction.

SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS: Required to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends

and holidays as required.



  1. Thoroughly clean hotel rooms and bathrooms according to department procedures
  2. Sort, count, fold and/or carry linens for making guest beds.
  3. Stock housekeeping carts with supplies.
  4. Replenish supplies in hotel room and bathroom per hotel procedures.
  5. Dust furniture, wash walls, ceiling and woodwork, wash windows and sills, door panels.
  6. Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to waste disposal area.
  7. Report any problems immediately to Hotel Housekeeping Manager or Hotel Operations Manager.
  8. Ensure all lost and found items are turned in to be logged.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  10. Interact with guests on occasion while cleaning guest room.
  • Promotes outstanding customer relations.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
  • Other:
  • Able to lift/carry 50 lbs. repeatedly.
  • Frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, carrying and climbing stairs.
