Coronavirus (COVID-19) Notice

UPDATE: April 1, 2020

We are missing our guests and can’t wait until we’ll be able to open our doors again. In the meantime, we know you have several questions about our temporary suspension so we have compiled a quick FAQ that may address some of your immediate concerns and questions.

UPDATE: March 16, 2020

Although there have been no known cases of COVID-19 at Saratoga Casino Hotel, out of concern for our guests, team members and our community, we are temporarily closing as of 8pm tonight.

The hotel will remain open and we are awaiting further guidance from the New York State Gaming Commission regarding harness racing. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as they develop.


UPDATE: March 14, 2020

Dear Valued Guests:

As we continue to monitor the ongoing developments regarding COVID-19, I wanted to take a moment to update you on some recent changes we are making on property. We take the safety of our guests and team members very seriously, and due to the recent restrictions placed on public gatherings in New York State, we will be limiting the number of guests on the casino floor to 500 people at any one time. The Garden Buffet will also be closing tomorrow, March 15 until further notice.

In addition, we feel it is in the best interest of everyone to postpone the following events and promotions:

UPDATE: March 12, 2020

Dear Valued Guests:

The health and safety of our guests, as well as our team members, remains a top priority at Saratoga Casino Hotel. As the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation evolves, we want to assure you that we are taking significant precautionary measures and following the recommendations of the World Health Organization. Our focus is to ensure we meet our guests’ needs while doing our part to keep you, our employees, and our communities safe.

We have assembled a multifunctional task force that includes some of our leaders across the organization who meet daily to ensure we continue to address all facets of this developing situation.

Although we have always taken pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness at our facility, we have enhanced our cleaning procedures to include more frequent disinfecting of all surfaces, installed additional hand sanitizers, and incorporated continuous cleaning protocols throughout our property. Our hotel has always disinfected rooms as a standard practice, however we are paying special attention to guest touch points within each room including disinfecting the remote control, light switches, door handles, and telephone. Additionally, our Food and Beverage Division has added enhanced protocols above and beyond the normal Department of Health codes to ensure guest food service safety during this time.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and modify our processes to maintain the highest levels of cleanliness at our facility.
