Coronavirus (COVID-19) Notice

UPDATE: May 7, 2020

As we all adjust to this new normal, our thoughts are with you and your families and we hope you’re staying safe and healthy. The last couple of months have been difficult and trying for all of us, but we continue to be hopeful that in time the situation will improve and we will be able to resume the activities that bring us happiness and enjoyment.

It’s in that spirit that we wanted to share with you some good news about what Saratoga Casino Hotel has been doing for you as we tackle the biggest and most disruptive crisis we’ve faced in our 79‑year history.

Good news as we plan to reopen our doors
The health and safety of our guests and team members has always been our top priority. The social distancing and cleaning procedures that have become a way of life for all of us will now be standard procedures in our facility. Although a reopen date has not been determined at this time, we are working closely with the New York Gaming Association, the Health Department and Gaming Commission to develop a “safety first” plan with the necessary protocols that will allow both our team members and guests the ability to return to the casino as soon as possible.

Good news for when you’re ready to return
Due to COVID-19, some of the ongoing renovations had to be halted. However, while following social distancing guidelines, we think you’ll be happy to know that all the restrooms in the casino have been completely renovated. Additionally, we know you will enjoy the new wider aisles, comfortable seating, smaller banks with more end games, and designated self-service stations. We have also been able to redirect some of our attention to finalizing our plans to renovate Vapor. Although construction has not started in Vapor, later this year we will have a fresh new venue with updated carpet, wall finishings and furniture.

 Good news for our community
While we wait to welcome you back, we’ve been using our time and resources to do our part to support those on the frontline. Every week since the beginning of April, we have been delivering hundreds of lunches to organizations caring for the more vulnerable members of our community, as well as those working hard to keep us all safe. We have committed to continue this program at least through the month of May. We would like to thank all those who are keeping our communities safe and operational during this health crisis.

Please continue to check our website and social media pages for updates regarding our reopen. And, if you don’t already follow us on Facebook, be sure to do so. We’ll have been hosting giveaways throughout our closure to bring some fun to everyone at home.

Please stay safe, stay well and stay positive.  We look forward to welcoming everyone back to Saratoga Casino Hotel soon.

UPDATE: April 1, 2020

We are missing our guests and can’t wait until we’ll be able to open our doors again. In the meantime, we know you have several questions about our temporary suspension so we have compiled a quick FAQ that may address some of your immediate concerns and questions.

There may be some questions that we simply don’t have the answers to right now, but if there is anything else you’d like to know, please feel free to reach out to us. We would love to hear from you.

UPDATE: March 14, 2020

Dear Valued Guests:

As we continue to monitor the ongoing developments regarding COVID-19, I wanted to take a moment to update you on some recent changes we are making on property. We take the safety of our guests and team members very seriously, and due to the recent restrictions placed on public gatherings in New York State, we will be limiting the number of guests on the casino floor to 500 people at any one time. The Garden Buffet will also be closing tomorrow, March 15 until further notice.

In addition, we feel it is in the best interest of everyone to postpone the following events and promotions:

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide updates accordingly in an effort to reassure you that we are taking every precautionary measure to ensure the safety of our guests and team members.

Thank you for your ongoing support and shared efforts to help keep our communities strong and healthy.

As the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation evolves, we want to assure you that we are taking significant precautionary measures and following the recommendations of the World Health Organization. Our focus is to ensure we meet our guests’ needs while doing our part to keep you, our employees, and our communities safe.

We have assembled a multifunctional task force that includes some of our leaders across the organization who meet daily to ensure we continue to address all facets of this developing situation.

Although we have always taken pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness at our facility, we have enhanced our cleaning procedures to include more frequent disinfecting of all surfaces, installed additional hand sanitizers, and incorporated continuous cleaning protocols throughout our property. Our hotel has always disinfected rooms as a standard practice, however we are paying special attention to guest touch points within each room including disinfecting the remote control, light switches, door handles, and telephone. Additionally, our Food and Beverage Division has added enhanced protocols above and beyond the normal Department of Health codes to ensure guest food service safety during this time.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and modify our processes to maintain the highest levels of cleanliness at our facility.

We look forward to exceeding your expectations and continuing to deliver an unsurpassed entertainment experience in a welcoming and safe environment and we continue to ask all our guests and employees to:
