Corn Dog Eating Contest

Must be 18 years or older, and have valid photo ID to participate in promotion. Registering for this event does not guarantee participation. Saratoga Casino Hotel will select the official competitors from the list of registrants. The contest is open to eight (8) eaters who are 18 years or older and in good health. Any competitor with a serious ailment or health problem may not compete in the contest. Contestants will have six minutes to eat as many corn dogs as possible. If any of the 8 selected competitors fail to check in by 8:15pm on August 9, additional entrants will be selected from those in attendance. Contestants are required to sign waiver when they check in. Once checked in, each participant will be assigned a contestant number and will be instructed to wait in a designated area.

The object is to eat as many corn dogs as possible within the six minute time limit.
-A full corn dog includes both the dog and the breading.
-Partial corn dogs will be counted to break a first place tie.
-Any corn dogs still in the mouth at the buzzer must be swallowed within 30 seconds to count.
-The winner will be determined by the total number of corndogs eaten. In the event of a tie between competitors, there will be a separate race to finish and swallow one corn dog. Whoever swallows the entire corn dog first will be deemed the winner.
-The use of utensils or assistance of others is not allowed.
-Contestants will be allowed to drink water during the competition.
-Contestants will be allowed to dip their corn dogs in water to make them easier to swallow.
-If a contestant throws up or regurgitates, he or she is automatically disqualified.
-Contestants must show an empty mouth at the end.
-Judges will be on hand to assure adherence to contest rules, monitor the “no throw up or regurgitating” rule, to count the total number of corn dogs that have been eaten, and to disqualify contestants who fail to adhere to the rules.
-Winner will be designated by the judges after time has expired and number of corn dogs per contestant have been recorded.
-Contestants may not touch the corn dogs before the contest begins.
-If contingencies or disputes arise at the contest/before, during or after, that is not explicitly covered by these official rules, the Executive Judge’s decision will stand with the same finality as the rules.
