Elusive Action & Bruce Aldrich Jr

A pair of even money favorites prevailed in the afternoon’s co-featured races at Saratoga Casino Hotel on Thursday. Bruce Aldrich Jr. went three-for-three to start the program and completed his hat trick with Elusive Action (Conway Hall) as the John Grasso trainee scored first over in the $9,300 co-feature for New York Sired trotters. Elusive Action prevailed in his return to town after a more than month long stint at Yonkers. His race’s even money favorite, Elusive Action stopped the timer in 2:00 to record his third win of the year. Love Crazy Love (Crazed) also made her return to the Spa a winning one as she went coast to coast with Frank Coppola Jr. in the sulky. The Gates Brunet-trained filly was the even money favorite in her division of the $9,300 co-feature and stopped the timer in 1:58.4.

Live racing continues on Friday night at Saratoga with a 7:05pm first post. Saturday night is the $260,000 Joe Gerrity Jr. Memorial Pace with Wiggle It Jiggleit coming to town to compete for the first time. Saturday’s first post is also set for 7:05pm.
