Heidi received the USHWA Peerless McGrath Award for up-and-coming trainer at Saratoga Raceway in 2009, by the Saratoga Chapter of the United States Harness Writers Association (USHWA). 

Heidi also trained the 2009 Claiming Pacer ($,000-$6,000) of the Year with Am I Next A.  This horse also holds the track record for 11-year-old and 14-year-old geldings all time at Saratoga, with marks of 1:53.2 and 1:54.4 respectively.  Heidi raced at several tracks in the area in 2010, while winning 24 races at Saratoga.

Heidi finished 2nd in the 2012 trainer standings for at Saratoga Raceway.
